Eamon Costello (Kerry) Ltd

Eamon Costello (Kerry) Ltd is a main contractor working across medical, education, heritage, housing and commercial projects in Ireland. Their work includes Skellig Michael, Muckross House, the Blasket Centre and an award-winning school. Almost none of it appeared on the old site, which led with a slideshow and a strip of accreditation logos.

What we built

A new site on Apricot Manage with a project page for every job. Each project carries the facts a procurement reader scans for: client, value, timeframe, location, size, architect, engineer and surveyor, all fields the office edits themselves. Projects are grouped into ten sectors, each with its own listing, and the home page shows the newest work across all of them.

The design is quiet on purpose: a warm off-white ground, near-black type, hairline rules, and one accent drawn from the existing brand mark. Project pages borrow the title block from an architect's drawing sheet to hold their facts. The whole site is gently animated, and still readable with the animation off.

What changed underneath

Listings used to be fetched by the browser after the page loaded, so search engines saw empty columns. They are now rendered on the server. The site gained a real sitemap, proper 404 pages, and a list of small corrections the old site had carried for years, from a wrong phone number to a careers page whose live vacancy nobody could see.

Running it

The office posts projects and news through the platform. We host the site, keep it patched and publish the changes.
